Anthony Mlatnik

1946-2025
Anthony Mlatnik, 78, of Burgettstown, Pa., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, at Allegheny General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born on Sept. 17, 1946, in Washington, Pa., the son of the late Tony and Ann Irene Mlatnik (Kinkela). Anthony was a 1964 graduate of Union High School and went on to attend California State University and West Liberty College. From November 1966 to August 1970, Anthony served in the United States Marine Corps as a sergeant.
On Nov. 20, 1971, he married the love of his life, Rhonda Foster, and together they built a beautiful life.
A dedicated and skilled worker, Anthony was employed as a pipefitter/welder for Quaker State/Shell Oil Refinery in Congo, West Virginia, until his retirement.
Anthony had a strong work ethic, loved to golf, and was an avid NASCAR fan, rarely missing a race. His life was marked by his devotion as a husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Rhonda; his daughter, Toni (Kevin) Meddings; and his beloved grandchildren, Logan Anthony Meddings and Hailey Jean Meddings. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
