William C. ‘Bill’ Sevey

1950-2025

EAST LIVERPOOL – William C. “Bill” Sevey, of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025. He was 75 years old.

Bill was born on June 3, 1950, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Jack and Shirley Clark Sevey.

After graduating from East Liverpool High School, Bill proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Following his military service, he went on to work as a lineman for Ameritech, where he dedicated many years of hard work.

Bill was an active member of the Elks Lodge Post 258 and the American Legion Post 374. Known for his sense of humor and love of life, he was often the life of the party. He enjoyed golfing and cherished the time he spent with family and friends above all else.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sisters, Marybeth Amann and Teresa Baker; and his father-in-law, Francis Bowersock

Left to honor his memory are his beloved wife, Tammy Bowersock Sevey; his children, Kelsie Perkins and her husband Justin of Lisbon, Kevin Sevey of East Liverpool, and Stefanie Graham; his treasured grandchildren, Will and Waylon. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Krafft and her husband Ron of Ashtabula; his mother-in-law, Sally Bowersock; brother-in-law, Dave Amann; and many dear friends.

Pastor Chalmer Perkins will conduct a funeral service Thursday, July 31, at 6:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
