Thomas 'Tom' Brown
1956-2025
Thomas "Tom" Brown, 68, of East Liverpool, passed away on Tuesday July 15, 2025. He was born on Sept. 22, 1956 in East Liverpool, the son of Betty (Hescht) Brown, of Follansbee, and the late Brooks Brown. Besides his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Brown.
He was a graduate of Southern Local, a veteran of the US Navy where he served as a medic and he retired from New Castle Refractories. He is a member of the East Liverpool American Legion and Dave and Deb's. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and riding motorcycles.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Laura (Yanni) Brown at home; three daughters, Kendra Gallagher (James Craig III)and Krista (Allen) Brletich, all of East Liverpool, and Kaitlin Waddle (Tyler Barnes) of Wellsville; two sons, Thomas (Michele) Brown of Lisbon and Justin (Pollyanna) Brown of East Liverpool; 10 grandchildren, Brooke, Aiden, Isabella, Brantley, Henry, Avah, Leonard, Violet, Evelynn and Oliver and one on the way. He is also survived by two brothers, Michael Brown (Ivaloe Patterson) of Lisbon and Steve (Kim) Brown of Texas.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday July 19, 2025 at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell from 2 p.m. to time of service at 4 p.m. Tri-State Veterans will accord military services. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date at Dave and Deb's.
