Paul Snatchko Sr., passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025. He was born in McKees Rocks, Pa. on July 5,1955, the son of the late George and Anna (Summervill) Snatchko. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Snatchko, three brothers, Dave, Ron and Larry Snatchko.
He was retired as a trainer at Mountaineer Race Track and a member of the H.B.P.A. and former member of the Chester Old Timers Baseball League.
He is survived by his wife, Johnna (Kaplun) Snatchko, at home; three sons, Paul Snatchko Jr. (Eric Schrimshaw) of Fla., Joe (Erin) Snatchko of Pa. and Clifford (Meghan) Snatchko,of Pa., a daughter Kendra (David) Boggess, of Moon Twp.; four grandchildren, Aiden, Bella, George and John. He is also survived by three brothers, Roger, Mike and John Snatchko and two sisters, Judy Souffrant and Betty Brooks.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 8, 2025, from 2 p.m. to time of service at 4 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell. Family request flowers to be sent to Nixon Funeral Home of Newell for Paul’s services.
