Mary Elizabeth Gula Salsberry, 66, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025. She was born in Wooster Ohio, the daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Zernich) Gula. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles Petroski, and three brothers, Joseph, Frank and Ed Gula. She was Catholic by faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Nicole Petroski of New Castle; two grandchildren, Charles II and Jemma Petroski; three sisters, Kathy Moreira, Tammy Gula and Joann Gula; a brother, Randy Dunn; and also by an aunt, Kathryn Todd.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell. Family request memorial contributions be made to the Funeral Home.
