John Bosworth, Sr.

John Bosworth, Sr. 67, of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Valley Hospice at Trinity Hospital after a lengthy illness. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother, John's love for his family was the foundation of his life.

An avid outdoorsman, John found joy in hunting and fishing, passions that shaped many cherished memories with those he loved. He was a lifetime member of the Tri State Coon Hunters Club. Hard work was a defining trait of his character--he dedicated 21 years to Albco Foundry in Lisbon, OH, and another 18 years at WHEMCO in Midland, PA, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Cheryl Mackall Bosworth, at home; his son, John (Brookie) Bosworth Jr. of Columbiana; his daughter, Paige Bosworth and her partner Dustin Joy of Lisbon; his two grandchildren, London and Bradley; his mother, Phyllis Bosworth; his sisters, Carrie Ferguson and Sharon (Kevin) Ours of East Liverpool; his mother in law Vivian Mackall of Wellsville; his sister in laws, Nancy Germanovich of Lisbon and Robbie Petrick of Wellsville; his brother in law Robert "Binks" Mackall of Wellsville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Jack Bosworth. His family and friends will always hold him close in their hearts.

The celebration of John's life will be held at Care Funeral and Cremation Specialists' Martin Chapel in East Liverpool. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, June 18, at 11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at noon.
