Dorothy Greathouse, 71, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. She was born on June 18, 1954, the daughter of the late Frank and Angieline Greathouse. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Joshua McElroy; two step-sons, Jeremy and Jason McElroy; a grandson Blade also by five brothers and two sisters and her companion of 44 years, Harry McElroy.
Dorothy is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Angie McElroy of East Liverpool; a son, Jay R McElroy of East Liverpool; six grandchildren, Caitlin (Zack), Sakari, Calvin, Bocephus (Trinity), Joshua and Holden; and two great-grandchildren, Penelope and Mavrick. She is also survived by two brothers, Bill and Gary Greathouse; and a sister, Patty McEldowney.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, June 30, 2025 at the Nixon Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to time of service at 6 p.m. Family request memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist in expenses.
