EAST LIVERPOOL - Robert O. "Bob" Cochran, 86, of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Heritage Valley Hospital in Beaver.
Bob was born on Jan. 20, 1939, in East Liverpool, a son of the late Herbert and Alice (Parrish) Cochran. He was a truck driver for Chemlime. Bob was the owner of J&B Hand Dipped Ice Cream and Bob's Sporting Goods. He was a life member of Columbiana County Fish and Game where he served as president for many years. Bob enjoyed watching sprint car racing throughout the state of Ohio. He was very proud of his 100 Straight Trap Shooting belt buckle.
Preceding Bob in death were his wife, whom he married Sept. 3, 1976, Judith D. "Judy" (Goleno) Cochran; two daughters, Kathy Jo Daniel and Penny Jo Cochran; son Robert Scott "Scottie" Hall; two brothers, Clifford and James Cochran; and sister Violet Jackson.
Left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Terrie Lynn Wright and her husband David of East Liverpool and Rebecca Covert and her husband Ralph Widger II of Lisbon, Ohio; son John D. Hall and his wife Lisa of East Liverpool; four grandsons, Richard Lee Hall and his fiancee Jacki Ferguson of Wellsville, David Dean Daniel of East Liverpool, Justin Robert Cochran and his wife Kaylynn of East Liverpool and Christian Robert Hall and his wife Dee of Bellevue, Pa.; and three great-grandchildren, Ellisabeth Cochran, Eliyas Cochran and Alexa Call.
Friends may visit Tuesday at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. Pastor Norm Eckert will conduct a funeral service on Tuesday 4 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
