Gary Anderson

Gary Anderson, 86, of New Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He was born on Sept. 2, 1938, the son of the late Israel and Irene (Yoho) Anderson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Judy.

He was a member of the Chester Church of the Nazarene.

He is survived by three sons, William, Richard and Gary Jr., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Anderson, and a sister, Brenda Hampson. Gary is also survived by William (Mackenzie) Straight and Richard Shingler, all of Tennessee, and Autumn and Katelyn Shingler.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 5 to 7 pm. at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, where military services will be held.
