1924-2025

BEAVER FALLS -- Ruby B. Milliron, 100, of Beaver Falls, Pa., formerly of Wellsville, passed away Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at Lakeview Personal Care in Darlington, Pa.

She was born Sept. 19, 1924, in Wellsville, the daughter of the late Dora (Fields) and Marshall Smallwood Sr. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her second husband, Earl "Bud" Milliron, whom she married May 2, 1959. She was also preceded in death by her son, Bobby Mills; stepson, Gary Milliron; an infant daughter; five sisters: Lois Messer, Nina Barger, Nora Moore, Frances Messer, and Sydna Watson; and three brothers: Marshall Smallwood Jr., Eugene Smallwood, and Crit Smallwood.

Ruby was previously employed during World War II as a welder for the former Crucible Steel Mill. She had also been employed at the former Sterling China Pottery. Ruby was a member of the East Liverpool Moose Lodge 122 and the Wellsville VFW Post 5647. She was a member of the Word of Life Chapel.

Survivors include her son, Larry (Marge Grimm) Mills of Wellsville; her first husband and lifelong friend, Robert Mills; her daughter-in-law, Bonnie Mills of Beaver Falls, Pa.; and four grandchildren: Kevin, Lynn, Tina, and Jennifer. Also surviving are many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Blakeley of the Wellsville First Christian Church officiating.

Burial will be in Beaver Falls Cemetery.

Family and friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main St. in Wellsville.
