James Stanley Franklin Sr.

James Stanley Franklin Sr., 73, of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2024. He was born on Oct. 29, 1951, in East Liverpool, the son of the late Paul and Lillie (Martin) Franklin Sr. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, James Franklin Jr., and a brother, Paul Franklin Jr.

He was a member of the Potters Club and the former Sloppy Pool League.

He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Janet (Alford) Franklin at home; a son, Jesse Leon Franklin Sr. of East Liverpool; two daughters, Tammy (Carmelo) Roldan of East Liverpool and Pamela Stowers of East Liverpool; five grandchildren, Cruz Franklin, Carmen Sher, Elvis Roldan, Mackenzie Brown and Jesse Franklin Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Leland McHenry and Nora Sher.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2024 from noon until time of service at 2 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home of Newell.
