Teresa J. Landis, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on Jan. 24, 2024, at Calcutta HealthCare, at the age of 95. She was born on June 14, 1928, in Wellsville, Ohio, to the late Rocco and Mary (Metz) Corbisello.
Teresa began her professional journey as a clerk at A&P grocery store and dedicated her life to working in various grocery stores. Her last job was at IGA in Wellsville, where she made lasting connections with fellow employees and customers alike. Her dedication and work ethic were admired by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
While Teresa found fulfillment in her career, her true joy came from being outdoors and spending time with her family. She cherished every moment she spent with her grandchildren, John M. Landis II and Aaren Landis, as well as her nieces and nephews. Family was the cornerstone of her life, and her unwavering love for her family will forever be remembered
Along with her parents, Teresa is preceded in death by her loving husband, John C. Landis, who passed away in 1991, and her siblings: Anthony, Dominic, Phillip, Vincent, Benjamin, Joseph, and Pauline.
She is survived by her son, John Landis of Austintown, Ohio; her sister, Angeline Corbisello of Wellsville; her brother, Rocco Corbisello, also of Wellsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists, 509 Riverside Ave., Wellsville. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Teresa will be laid to rest at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Wellsville.
