Broda D. "Dave" McCoy Jr., 60, of East Liverpool, passed unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 29, 2024, at Wexford Healthcare Center.
Born May 15, 1963, in East Liverpool, he is the son of Broda D. "David" McCoy of Kingston, Tenn., and the late Pearl Nalley McCoy.
Dave was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Dawn Phelps McCoy.
He was a graduate of Oak Glen High School Class of 1981. In November of 1981, he entered active duty into the United States Army. Dave was unfortunately injured and became a retired disabled American Veteran, who was very proud to have served his country.
In his spare time, Dave enjoyed working on his cars and spending time with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his children, Broda D. McCoy III and his wife, Jessica, of Chester; Carey Stotler of East Liverpool; Miranda Graham and her husband, Adam, of East Liverpool; grandchildren whom he raised, Skyler Goodwin and Jaiden Goodwin; grandchildren Kiernan Mayhew, Abaigael Mamich, Marlee McCoy and Ellie McCoy; son-in-law, Christopher Stotler; brothers, Bodie McCoy (Heidi) of Lenoir City, Tenn., and Dru McCoy (Cindy) of Chippewa.
Visitation will be held at the Arner Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, from 4 to 6 p.m.
