Peggy A. Moore, 66 of Calcutta passed away surrounded by her loving family at home Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023.
Born May 22, 1957, in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Blaine and Elton Armstrong Schon.
Peggy was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Dale Schon.
She grew up in Chester and attended Oak Glen High School. Peggy later married the love of her life, Randy, on Feb. 3, 1975. Together they raised their two sons, Aaron and Nick.
Peggy will be remembered as a person that loved the simple things in life. She enjoyed all things about shopping, whether it be day trips to Amish country or just simply watching home shopping networks. Most of all she cherished the times spent with her family.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Randy Moore; sons, Aaron Moore (Marci) of Calcutta and Nick Moore (Tonya) of East Palestine; sisters, Linda Butto of New Manchester and Edna Drane (Bob) of Calcutta; and grandchildren, Haley and Ciara Moore, Declan, Liam and Aria.
Private services were held at the Arner Funeral Chapel.
