Our dear mother Patricia J. (Ansell) Janke passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at the age of 72. She was a wonderful mother and mammaw who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Chester, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde H. Ansell and Oma G. Ansell; infant son, Chris Janke; and a brother, Larry Ansell. She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Janke and Cathy (Mark) Bittinger; grandchildren Mason, Brodie, Hunter and Emma Bittinger, and Taylor (Brian) Youngblood; and great-granddaughter Meadow Bittinger; as well as sisters Irene (Tom) Rice, Judy (Mike) Klem, Janet (Rick) Yacona and Dawn Ansell.
We would love you to come and honor her life at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, W.Va. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of funeral at 4 p.m.
