Tony Nunzio Infanti, 64, of Weddington, N.C., bravely ended his fight with cancer on Nov. 17, 2023, surrounded by his beloved family.
Tony was born Dec. 1, 1958, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late Angelo (Ruffie) Infanti and Ida (Lombardozzi) Infanti. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Lois, son Marcus (Rosalind Koop), daughter Christina (Adam Page) and five loyal dogs, Beau, Teddy, Beans, Rosie and Ridge; sister Donna Stewart, brother Ronald (Amy) Infanti; nephews James, Matthew and Nathan Stewart of East Liverpool, Ohio; and nieces Mattisyn and Mackenzey Infanti of Wellsville, Ohio.
Tony graduated from Wellsville High School in 1977. He loved his family and was a very proud of his Italian Catholic heritage. He enjoyed Friday night high school football games and cheered for Clemson and Notre Dame on Saturdays. A natural handyman, he liked working on projects around the house. He was employed by UPS for 13 years and had a large circle of friends. Tony was a proud member and usher at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, where he participated in the Knights of Columbus and Boy Scout Troop #8.

There will be a Celebration of Life service held Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home Weddington Chapel in Matthews, N.C. At the family's request, please wear bright colors to celebrate Tony's life.
