Rebecca ‘Becky’ Beaver

1943-2023

EAST LIVERPOOL -- Rebecca "Becky" Beaver, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday evening, November 24, 2023, while surrounded by her loving family at the Hospice House in Poland. She was 80.

Born in East Liverpool, March 26, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Helen L. Russell. A lifetime area resident, she was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1962 where she played the viola in the orchestra. She continued her education at the Ohio Valley Business College and worked briefly as a secretary. Her life revolved around her family, and she took pride in being a wife to her husband and raising five children. She always had a soft spot in her heart for cats. Becky attended Lisbon Baptist Temple.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Charles P. "Chuck" Beaver, at home. The couple married November 29, 1969. She is also survived by her children: Patrick Beaver (Robert Seeley) of Charleston, South Carolina, Melody Carlisle (Rick) of Ravenna, Tim Beaver (Stacey) of East Liverpool, Christopher Beaver (Katheryn) of Calcutta, and Rebecca Beaver (Rebekah Furey) of San Diego, California. There are eight grandchildren: Olivia, Cole (Kayla), Kinsey, Hannah, Sarah, Aaron, Parker, and Derrick.

She is also survived by a sister, Charleen Franczek of East Liverpool, and a brother, Charles A. Russell, Jr. (Alice) of Wellville.

Pastor Matt Phillips will conduct a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.

Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Lisbon Baptist Temple for fellowship.
