Mildred A. McLain Howell, 76, of Negley passed due to a lengthy illness Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her family.
Born Aug. 2, 1947, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Truman and Margaret Adams Waide.
Mildred was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert W. McLain, and also by her second husband, Forrest Howell, and daughter, Michelle McLain.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in East Liverpool and Eastern Star, Crystal Chapter. Throughout the years Millie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her family and enjoyed every moment she could with them. She will be deeply missed by her children, Robert McLain (Ben Hobbs) of East Liverpool, Marcie Mauro (Daniel) of Tampa, Fla., and Marcus McLain of Chester; brother, Butch Waide of New York; grandchildren, Megan Caughey, Marcus Harker McLain, Kayla McCune (Dave), Nicole McCune (Alex), William Payton and Evan Mauro; and great-grandchildren, Deandre and Asher.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44514.
Evangelist Will Montgomery will celebrate Millie's life Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel at 1 p.m.. Interment will follow at Locus t Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with her family two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
