Margaret E. Kleich, 92, passed away peacefully Oct. 4, 2023 at Calcutta Health Care. She was born May 15, 1931 in Middletown, Missouri, the daughter of the late Violet Cline.
Peg had a fulfilling career, working as a buyer at Ogilvie's Department Store for 15 years until her retirement. Prior to that she was the owner and operator of Peggy B's Store in Midland, Pa.
Peg was a member of the Northside Community Church. Her commitment to her faith was evident in her actions and unwavering support for her church community.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 29 years, Nick Kleich; her children, David (Chris) Bangor of East Liverpool, Ohio, Donald Bangor of Wellsville, Ohio, Daniel (Cathy Chambers) of Newark, Ohio, and Dean (Susan) Bangor of Lisbon, Ohio. She is also survived by her stepdaughters, Sandy Steel and Janet Stanley of East Liverpool, and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Along with her mother, Peg was preceded in death by her grandson Matthew and great-granddaughter Julia Claire.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta. The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Larry Rose of Northside Community Church officiating. Peg will be laid to rest in Spring Grove Cemetery.
