Donald C. "Donny" Moore, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and Christian, went to be with his Lord and Savior Oct. 7, 2023, at the age of 89 in St. Elizabeth-Youngstown, Ohio. He was born Aug. 15, 1934, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to the late Homer Moore and Mildred Cain Moore.
Donny was a graduate of East Liverpool High School. After completing his education, he held various positions, most notably as a flower delivery driver for Carriage House flower shop in East Liverpool, Ohio. His dedication and friendly demeanor made him a favorite among both colleagues and customers.
In his personal life, Donny found his greatest joy in the company of his family. He married his devoted wife, Sue Mitcheson Moore, and together they shared 68 wonderful years of marriage. Donny also had a strong faith and a close relationship with God.
Along with his wife, Donny leaves behind his son, Tim Moore of Santa Cruz, Calif., and daughter, Debbie Quinn of Wellsville. He also leaves behind two cherished granddaughters, Ashley Quinn of Glenmoor and Amber (Nate) Rowand of Wellsville, as well as his great-granddaughter, Cora Lynn.
Along with his parents, Donny was preceded in death by his brothers, Homer and Richard Moore, and his two sisters, June and Helen Bourne.
In keeping with Donny's wishes, no services will be observed. Care Funeral & Cremation-Martin Chapel in Calcutta have been entrusted with arrangements.
