Marlene ‘Dude’ Kay Williams

1940-2023

Marlene "Dude" Kay Williams of Salem passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023 at Salem West Healthcare Center.

She was a resident of Salem and a lifelong area resident, having been born in East Liverpool Sept. 21, 1940

Marlene was a daughter of the late Ralph R "Moss" Lee and Alice D. Cunningham Lee.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Williams, who passed away Nov. 7, 2011; and her sister, Joyce A Lee Black, who passed away Feb. 28, 2015.

Marlene graduated from East Liverpool High School. She was employed with Potters Medical Center and Mountaineer Racetrack. She later became a homemaker.

Marlene loved reading, collecting dolls, needlework and spending time with her family.

She leaves behind her family, her son, Mike Wilson and wife Linda of Salem; her siblings, Charles Lee and Sheryl of Wellsville and Saundra Anderson of Lafayette, Ind.; her grandchildren, Sara Sewruk and husband John of Salem and Daniel Blair of Salem; great- grandson Donovan Blair of Salem and great-granddaughter Arwin Blair of Salem.
