Laura Barr, 81, of East Liverpool passed away Sept. 7, 2023.
Born Oct. 4, 1941 in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Elizabeth (McGraw) Loy.
Laura worked in the laundry department at Fox's Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Allen Barr, and a brother, Michael Loy.
Surviving are a son, Jim (Amy) Barr of East Liverpool; two daughters, Lori A. Thomas and Laura O. Benjamin of East Liverpool; five grandchildren, Joe, B.J, Dale, Justin and Amanda; six great-grandchildren, Honesty, Tyler, Blakely, Kaylin, Bennett and Cameron; and two sisters, Joyce M. Melott and Elizabeth A. Barr of East Liverpool.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 11, 2023, from 4 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, W.Va.
