EAST LIVERPOOL - James A. "Jim" Moore, 74, of East Liverpool passed away Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.
Jim was born in East Liverpool Oct. 11, 1948. He worked as a construction superintendent at Epcon and was self-employed in the construction field. Jim was a veteran of the Army, proudly serving during the Vietnam War as a helicopter repairman and in the Dust Off Aeromedical Evacuation Unit retrieving the wounded. He was a member of ATG. Jim was a very adventurous person. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend.
Preceding Jim in death was his father Homer Moore.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Carletta (Elkins) Moore; two daughters, Lonnie Ice and Terry Rhodes and her husband Sean; four grandchildren, Dakota Ice, Kadin Wolfe, Joslin Rhodes and Dalani Ice; mother Geraldine "Jerry" (Wright) Moore; brother Gary Moore and his wife Debbie; sister Melissa McElhaney and her husband Rob and five nephews, Sam, Casey, Tyler, Matt and Justin.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Sunday where the family will be present from noon to 4 p.m. Evangelist Rico Brown will conduct a service at the funeral home on Sunday at 4 p.m. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park where Tri State Veterans Burial Group will provide military honors.
