Lois Jean "Beanie" Hawkinberry, 71, of East Liverpool passed away peacefully Aug. 16, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Mercy Hospital in Boardman. She was born Nov. 18, 1951, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late Charles F. and Lois (Smith) Hasala. She graduated from East Liverpool High School with the class of 1971 and resided in the area her entire life.
Beanie dedicated her life to being a devoted homemaker. Her nurturing spirit and kind heart touched the lives of those closest to her. She brought comfort, love and warmth to her family and friends, creating a home filled with love and laughter.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her siblings, Virginia "Ginny" (Michael) Hanlon of East Liverpool and Charles "Chip (Carol) Hasala Jr., also of East Liverpool; her nephew, Steve (Connie) Adkins and their four children of East Liverpool; her three nieces, Tracey (Jimmy) Tennant and their two children of Cincinnati, Bobbi Jo Connell and her two children of Missouri and Julie McGuren and her two children also of Missouri.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson "Huck" Hawkinberry, whom she married on April 11, 1975.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Martin Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in Calcutta.
