EAST LIVERPOOL - Claudette Beatty of East Liverpool passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 23, 2023, at her home. She was 75.
Born in Lizemores, West Virginia, Oct. 23, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Wendell and Louise Ann Keener Bussard. Her family left their humble beginnings in Clay County and moved to this area when she was young, and she would graduate from East Liverpool High School in 1965. Claudette was a wonderful mother to her two sons and later worked as a loan officer for Hancock County Savings Bank and Central Federal. She was a member of several clubs in the community and had been a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Above all things, Claudette was a loving and giving person. She gave of her time and resources, not to mention the best baked treats, to countless organizations, friends, neighbors, and family. She will be missed.
She is survived by her son, Charles R. Bosco and his companion, Lisa McNicol, of East Liverpool, and two grandchildren, Aubrey Bosco and Gage White, both of Melbourne Beach, Florida. She also is survived by two sisters, Patricia Ann Hall and her husband, Jim, of Calcutta, and Linda Lindsey and her husband, Tom, of East Liverpool.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Beatty, as well as her son, Brent J. Bosco.
The Rev. Norman Eckert will conduct a funeral service Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home where friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.
