Charlotte Marlene Hoffman Conkle passed away Aug. 20, 2023.
She was born Jan. 14, 1944, to the late Arles N. and Mildred V. (Graham) Hoffman. On Dec. 23, 1962, Charlotte married the love of her life Paul Conkle lll.
A Christian by faith, she shared love and food with everyone she met. Charlotte supported and cheered for every kid at every event at Oak Glen High School.
Charlotte always shared a smile with those that she met at the Arbor, Salvation Army or any spot she was sharing a cup of coffee. She was the BEST!!! She will be dearly missed by her family, children Jeffrey (Gretchen) Conkle, Sherrie (Shannon) Alford, Kimberly (Kurt) Miller and Stacey Conkle; grandchildren Joshua (Elissa) Greathouse, Justin (Brittany) Greathouse, Erin and Erica (Jesus') Conkle; great-grandchildren Levi, Marlena, Aiden and Selena; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving brothers, James M. (Maryann) Hoffman and Larry B. (Linda) Hoffman, and her sister Joyce Ann Jenkins.
A memorial celebration will be held Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, at Pavilion #1 beside the swimming pool in Tomlinson Run State Park in New Cumberland at 5 p.m.
She is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
