Barry Curtis Shuman was born on August 30, 1951, in East Liverpool. He was the first-born son of Marie & Robert Shuman. He was raised in Calcutta, and graduated from Beaver Local High School in 1970.
Barry spent much of his life as a truck driver and loved driving across the country.
He loved working in his workshop, watching old western movies, YouTube videos, & carving wood.
Barry entered the loving arms of Jesus on the morning of July 29, 2023, and was reunited with the love of his life and wife, Gale Shuman.
He is survived by his son, Edward (Moose) and Lindy Shuman, his daughter, Sabrina Foley and his grandchildren, Brittney Jackson & Michelle Shuman, Madison, Megan, & Jacob Foley. Barry also leaves his stepsons, Rogelio, Ruben (Livet) and children and Rick Quintero and children, his brother Jeffrey & wife Donna Shuman, and his nieces Holly Sampson, her children and grandchildren and Kylie Shuman, as well as many cousins and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on September 2, at 11:00 a.m. at Lisbon Assembly of God, 39442 SR 517, Lisbon, Ohio. The service will be officiated by Rev. Donna Shuman.
