Dotty Fugate Lucas, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away on July 25, 2023 at her son's residence in Raleigh, NC. Born on October 19, 1933 in East Liverpool she was the daughter of the late David and Luella Fugate. She was married for 61 years to Bob Lucas who passed away in January, 2014. Dotty was a graduate of East Liverpool High School. She was also preceded in death by her sister Barbara Fugate Rushton of Poland, Ohio.
She is survived by two sons, Tim Lucas and his wife Jill of Raleigh, NC and their son Graham Lucas and his wife Angel and her great- grandson Mason. Jeff Lucas and his life companion Carolyn Renner of East Liverpool, Ohio and their children: Chris Lucas of Pittsburgh, PA; Brandon Lucas and his wife Shantell of Ashtabula, OH and her great-grandchildren Sage Calhoun and Marcus Calhoun; Matt Lucas and his fiance Antoinette Antonucci of Pittsburgh, PA; Hayley Lucas of Pittsburgh, PA; Jenna Laughlin and her husband Taylor of Santee, CA; and Krista Renner and her fiance Travis Kisler of South Berwick, ME.
She was a lifelong member of Trinity Presbyterian Church and the merged Longs Run-Trinity Presbyterian Church of East Liverpool.
Arrangements were handled by City of Oaks Cremation, Raleigh, NC.
A celebration of life will be held in East Liverpool, OH at a time to be determined.
