Della "Louise" Melott, 75, of Wellsville, passed away July 15, 2023.
Born May 16, 1948 in Nanty-Glo, Pa. She was the daughter of the late David "Peg" Mottin and Elsie (Ambrose) Mottin.
Louise was a former cashier for the Hot Dog Shoppe and a she formerly worked as a finisher for Metsch Refractories. She was a life member of the East Liverpool VFW Aux Post 66, serving as a past District President for five terms also Past Dept. Guard and Conductress.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Melott; a grandson, Caleb; a brother; Jimmy Ambrose, two sisters, Becky Ambrose and Dora Keilman.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Patrick) Maharick of East Liverpool and Billie Melott of Wellsville; five grandchildren, Zach, Maggie, Nathan, Abbie and Will; great-grandchildren, Alice, Airyonna, Nevaeh and Caleb; one sister Peggy (Ken) Rager of W.Va.; three brothers, David Mottin of Calcutta and Bill (Joy) Mottin of New Jersey and Brian Mottin of Steubenville.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 20, from 11a.m. till time of Funeral Service at 1 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, W.Va.
