EAST LIVERPOOL - William A. "Wink" Henrich, of East Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was 79.
Born in East Liverpool, March 13, 1944, a son of the late William Grant Henrich and Sylvia D. Beaver Henrich. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines. He worked at the former Crucible Steel and then worked at North Star Steel in Youngstown which later became V&M Star. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting bow. Bill also enjoyed tending to his garden every summer. He was a proud member of the NRA.
He is survived by his wife, Carol S. Dingey Henrich, at home. The couple married June 24, 1966. There are two sons, Mark Henrich and his wife, Tonya, of Calcutta, and Chris Henrich and his wife, Marsha, of Negley, as well as three grandchildren, William Grant, Shannon Rebecca and Megan Elizabeth Henrich. He will also be sadly missed by his dog Sadie.
A sister survives as well, Norma Jean Henrich Blair and her husband, Harry, of Midland.
Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home where Evangelist Will Montgomery will conduct a service at 4:00 p.m. The Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
