EAST LIVERPOOL - Sandra M. "Sandy" Griffin, 67, of East Liverpool passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at Salem Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Sandy was born in East Liverpool on June 4, 1956 a daughter of the late Reginald Stervont and Clara Blanche (Allmaker) Farnsworth. She was an avid genealogist, loved photography and enjoyed doing crafts with her grandkids. Sandy was a loving wife, mom and grammy.
Preceding Sandy in death were her son Jonathan George Griffin; three sisters Regina Frye, Dolores "Dee" Solis and Jerilyn Seevers; two brothers Reginald Farnsworth, Jr. and Theodore Farnsworth, Sr. and her beloved pets Brutus and Whiskers.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, whom she married October 27, 1973, Richard A. Griffin; two daughters Debra Danver and her husband Dixon III and Stacey Gibson and her husband Dan; three granddaughters Megan Ahart and her husband Morgan, Allison Danver and Emma Danver; grandson Chase Gibson and sister Sharon Johnson and her husband Pete.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Friday where the family will be present from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Pastor Tom Adkins of Campground Community Church will conduct a service at the funeral home on Friday at 1 p.m. Burial at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
