James Carl "Jimmy" Keys, 70, of Hopewell, Va., formerly of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed peacefully at home on Sunday, May 28, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Carl Keys, Sr. and Marjorie Mae Morrell; brothers, William E. "Bill" Keys and Ronald A. "Ronnie" Morrell; former wife, Debra Rosa; and stepdaughter, Carrie Ann Kingery Clavin. He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Carol A. Keys; children, Jason C. Keys and Dawn Marie Swiger (Warren); stepchildren, Stacy Kingery Beasley (Steve) and William "John" McGraw; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Jack Morrell; sister, Jamie Keys and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
