EAST LIVERPOOL -- Gloria G. Landfried, 90, of East Liverpool passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Gloria was born in Wellsville on January 18, 1933. She retired with over 20 years of service from Homer Laughlin where she worked as a wear dresser. She also provided care for others in their home. Gloria loved to cook. She was a devoted wife, mom, mimi and great mimi and she was always there if anyone in her family needed her.
Preceding Gloria in death were her husband Lester H. Landfried; son-in-law Don Raffle; father Paul D. Alford, Sr.; mother Minnie A. (Taylor) McKenzie; four sisters Loretta Montgomery, Mary Kireta, Verla Swoger and Frances Saltsman and four brothers Kenneth, George, Jerry and Paul Alford, Jr.
Left to cherish her memory are three daughters Carol Landfried, Virginia "Ginny" Raffle and Fonda Moffett and her husband Bill; three grandchildren Doug Raffle and his companion Vanessa, Brittany Pugh and her husband Jason and Billy Moffett and his fiance Angelica; three great grandchildren Kaleb Raffle, Adeline Pugh and Jase Pugh and sister Phyllis Trainer.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Tuesday where the family will be present from 12 to 2 p.m. Pastor Jeff Smith will conduct a service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial at Spring Grove Cemetery.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
