Richard G. "Ritchie" Nelson, passed away on May 22, 2023, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born in East Liverpool on July 16, 1935, the son of the late Bernie and Ethel (Parsons) Nelson. He was 87 years old.
Throughout his life, Ritchie worked as a maintenance worker at Crucible Steel in Midland, PA. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Army.
Ritchie is preceded in death by his daughters: Gina Coil and Glenna David, and his siblings – Bernie, Carl, Raymond, Albert, Twila, Wilma, June, Mildred, Helen, and Mary Lou.
He leaves behind his significant other of 39 years, Goldie Jewell, who will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his special niece, Helen (Keith) Maple, of East Liverpool.
Care Funeral & Cremation- Martin Chapel, in Calcutta, have been entrusted with his arrangements.
