Randy Lee Simmons

1962-2023

EAST LIVERPOOL - Randy Lee Simmons, of East Liverpool, passed away in Carroll County as a result of a traffic accident. He was 60.

Born in Kansas, August 14, 1962, he was a son of Mary L. Tomlinson and the late Jerry L. Simmons. A resident of this area most of his life, he was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1981. A member of the Grace Bible Church, he worked for Hiland Wood Products in Millersburg. Previously, he worked for Seaforth Mineral and Ore, Swindell Dressler, and Heights Manor Apartments in maintenance.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda S. Miller Simmons, on December 23, 2003.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Padurean Simmons, at home, as well as his son, Kristopher Lee "Kris" Simmons and his wife, Angie, of Butler, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by a stepson, Justin Padurean and his wife, Belinda, of Beloit, and ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by his three sisters, Dawn VanDorn and her husband, Greg, of Chester, Robin Keyes and her husband, Donald, of Wellsville, and Kasandra Williams of Youngstown.

Friends may visit Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 2:30 p.m. funeral service on Friday. Burial will be at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
