Keith "Kip" Smith, 78, of Chester, passed away April 19, 2023.
Born January 30, 1945 in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was the son of the late Patrick and Eleanor Smith.
Keith served in the United States Army. He was a retired crane operator for Weirton Steel and he was a member of the 25 year club. He enjoyed being a former softball coach.
Surviving are his loving wife, Anna (Reseter) Smith of Chester; two daughters, Venetta "Tacci" Smith of North Carolina and Shauna Smith of New Cumberland; a granddaughter, Isabela "Izzy" Smith and a sister, Karen.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, from 2: 00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 3:00 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, WV. Military service will be conducted by the Chester American Legion and the VFW Honor Guard.
