On February 2, 2023, Lori Marie Roach, 58, of Martins Ferry, Ohio passed away surrounded by family. She was born on June 24, 1964 to the late Gary Woods and Patricia McGill. Lori was the face of Sonny Boys in Bridgeport for years and most recently worked at Starbucks until her illness took her from us. Lori was also known to her grandkids as Mimi, she was a loving wife to her husband Jay for 36 years, and the best mother. She will be remembered as someone who always took care of her family and the hardest worker.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Roach of Martins Ferry; two children, Melissa (Josh) McFarland of Barnesville, and Michael (Lakyn) Roach of Columbus; two grandchildren, Mya and Jolie McFarland; one sister, Wendy (Jeff) Walker of West Minster, Colo.; and a mother in law, Ava Roach of East Liverpool.
According to Lori's wishes there will be no formal services and private family gathering will take place at a later date. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family.
