1951-2023
Charles D. "Chuck" Green, 71, of New Cumberland, passed at home, Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2023, following a lengthy illness.
Born, June 15, 1951, in Beaver, he was the son of the late Robert Green and Dorothy Frampton Green Flesch.
Chuck was a graduate of Oak Glen High School Class of 1969. He dedicated many years working at East Liverpool City Hospital in the maintenance department.
Chuck was born with a big heart and enjoyed spending time with the people he cared about. He was known for his great sense of humor and as a practical joker. Chuck enjoyed sports especially playing softball with friends and coaching little league baseball. Chuck could be found watching his grandkids at their sporting events and activities. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and former season ticket holder. Chuck was a member of The First Christian Church of Wellsville, Ohio.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Phyllis Laughlin Green; children, Jennifer Click and her husband, Jeff, of New Cumberland; Jacob Green and his wife, Cathy of Madison, W.Va., and Drew Green and his wife, Mary of Economy, Pa.; grandchildren, Tyler Click, Allison Graves (Dakota), Cadee Mae Green, Zachary Green, Devin Seamon (Sara Fischer) and Avery Green. He will also be missed by his fur baby, Freckles.
Pastor Mark Blakely and Chuck's son-in-law, Jeff Click, will officiate the service, Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023, at 2 p.m., at the Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with Chuck's family Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, at the funeral home from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m.
