Phillip Thomas Egan
1947-2022
Phillip Thomas Egan died peacefully Dec. 30, 2022, after a long illness. Tom was born Aug. 13, 1947, to Phillip Thomas and Alma Louise (Hall) Egan. He is survived by his fiance Brenda Kay Hoffman who loved and took care of Tom for 20 years, also a brother Timothy Michael Egan (Joann) and several nieces and nephews.
Tom was a master carpenter who felled his own trees, honed them and built a two-story garage. He was a member of the carpenters' union. He loved working with wood. Tom also had a passion for antique cars and the "oldies" which he listened to every Sunday. He enjoyed riding his Harley with Brenda on the back!
Tom became an ordained minister in 1990. II Timothy 4 :7 says, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith." You were loved, Tom. It was you and me, kid. Rest in heavenly peace.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 6, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists- Martin Chapel in Calcutta. Tom will be laid to rest in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
