CALCUTTA -- Paul A. Mobley, Sr., 85, passed away, Saturday, January 28, 2023, at his daughter's home. Paul was born September 22, 1937 in East Liverpool, Ohio. He was the son of the late Fred and Grace Mobley of Wellsville. Paul proudly served his country in the US Army, retired after 24 years and spent his life traveling throughout the world.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie (Roger) Taylor of Calcutta, Ohio, and three sons, Paul Mobley Jr. (Diane) of Calcutta, Ohio, Jeff (Danajoy) Mobley of Dunkirk, Maryland and Joel (Tanya) Mobley of Cypress, Texas. In addition, Paul has six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Paul's siblings surviving are Fred Mobley Jr. of Ohio, Willard (Janet) Mobley of Arizona, Dale (Gina) Mobley of Florida, Melvin Mobley of Ohio and sister Naomi (Bill) Wolfe of Ohio. Another sister Mary Mobley Wright passed away in September 2023.
According to Paul's wishes, there will be no public visitation or service. The Arner Funeral Chapel is entrusted with cremation arrangements.
