Jack E. McCuen

1934-2023

Jack E. McCuen was born in Newell, West Virginia in 1934. Early on in his life, he was married to his sweetheart Shirley, "Granny" as we all know her. The BELL began to ring, and the team of kids started to appear. With the success of six children and a multitude of grandkids, our father lived unselfishly almost 89 years while serving his family unconditionally. Dad taught us the hard knocks road to success in life. He instilled in us a passion for our families and a work ethic that was second to none. Dad's heart was big, and he served not only his family, but community with an unwavering resolve. From working in the steel mill to the Power plant, Dad made all feel welcomed and at home. Dad lived most of his life in Port St Lucie, Florida, where he touched the community. Dad worked as a superintendent at the local power plant and served as OUR coach/mentor/friend and teacher. The many souls touched by "Pops" will forever remember his kind soul.

Jack Edward McCuen died Jan. 2, 2023.

Dad is survived by all his children, Son-Guy McCuen and "Lynn," Daughter-Monya Harris and "Wayne," Daughter-Mary Brian and "Fred," Son-Glyn "Goober" McCuen and "Sherri," Son-Ty Alan McCuen, and Son-JT McCuen and "Tracy." Our father's legacy will live on through not only his children, but a multitude of grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for all those touched by Mr. Jack Edward McCuen.

Love You Dad, Your whole Family...

He is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel.
