EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - Ruth A. Hilditch, 81, of East Liverpool passed away Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Ruth was born in East Liverpool May 2, 1941 a daughter of the late Frank J. and Ruth A. (Hall) Lovas. Ruth was a graduate of East Liverpool High School class of 1959 and Allegheny General School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse at Nentwick's Nursing Home. Ruth was a member of the former Trinity Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family, spending time with her grandkids and caring for others. Ruth really enjoyed watching old movies.
Preceding Ruth in death was her son Samuel K. "Beau" Hilditch.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Peggy Stephenson and her husband Erich; three grandchildren, Samantha Ramsey and her husband Ian, Ethan Stephenson and Evan Stephenson; and two great-grandchildren, Beau "Little Beau" Ramsey and Lilian Ramsey.
Friends may visit at the Dawson Funeral Home on Monday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Evangelist Will Montgomery of St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ will conduct a service at the funeral home on Monday at 7 p.m.
