COLUMBIANA - Lloyd C. Watson, of Columbiana, formerly of East Liverpool, passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, at his home. He was 79.
Born in East Liverpool, Aug. 16, 1943, he was a son of the late Francis E. Watson and Edna Mae Weber Watson. A Vietnam veteran, he served with the U.S. Navy for 23 years. He was a 1961 graduate of East Liverpool High School.
He is survived by three brothers, John Watson and his wife, Beatriz, of Dayton, Nevada; Melvin Watson and his wife, Suzanne, of Rogers; and Harold Watson and his wife, Okja, of San Jose, California; and a sister, Ruth Arellano of Pueblo, Colorado.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Garnet Flint.
Private services have been conducted by the Dawson Funeral Home. Lloyd will be laid to rest at Columbiana County Memorial Park where the Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will conduct military honors.
