Jay Adams, 77, of Newell passed away Dec. 13, 2022.
Born July 24, 1945, he was the son of the late Carlos and Elizabeth (Stonebraker) Adams.
Jay worked for the Boilermakers Union 154 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jay "Butch" Adams.
Surviving are his wife, Linda (Hand) Adams of Newell; a daughter, Kathleen (Frank) Bragg of Newell; a son, Steven (Nicole) Adams of Delaware; Mike Brennan, who was like a son, of New Cumberland; grandchildren, Kelly Rae (Brandon) Ates, Derek (Tiffany) Bragg, Chelsea (Stephanie) Bragg, Joshua (Meredith) Adams, Justin (Natalie) Adams, Jared (Tori) Adams, Dylan Adams; Jacob Adams and Jeremy Adams; great-grandchildren, Brenden, Kalli, Thea, Jaylin, Jordan, Jayden, Marianna, Aubrianna, Easton, Carson, Bryson, Elaina and Enyx and fur baby, Bruiser and great-granddog, Smalls, as well as a sister, Lisa Hotaling of Pennsylvania.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, from 2 p.m. until time of funeral services at 4 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, W.Va.
