EAST LIVERPOOL -- George Keller, 88, of East Liverpool, passed away December 2, 2022.
Born February 18, 1934 in Friendly, WV, he was the son of the late Thurman and Esther (Morgan) Keller.
He served in the United States Army. He was a former toll taker for the Newell Bridge and a former supervisor for Homer Laughlin.
He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Chuck, June, Buck, and Clarence Keller and two sisters, Geraldine Wells and Eva Jean Fletcher.
Surviving are his loving wife of 62 years, Erika (Sonntag) Keller of East Liverpool; three sons, Russell (Mary) Keller of Connellsville, Robert Keller of Wellsville and Roy (Toshica) Keller of Seattle, Washington; two daughters, Joyce Wooten of Pa and Georgia (John) Cronin of Hammondsville; nineteen grandchildren and twenty- nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, Dec 5, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral Home,Newell,WV, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6,2022. Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post 121 and VFW Post 64 Honor Guard.
Interment will follow in Shadow Lawn Memorial Gardens, Newell, WV.
