WELLSVILLE -- Frances "Frankie" D. Shields, 83, of Wellsville, passed, Thursday, December 1, 2022, at St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center in Columbiana.
Born, July 28, 1939, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Angie Rickey Greathouse.
Frankie was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Shields; brothers, John, Wayne, Joe, and Tom Greathouse and sisters, Joan Deruggebu and Nancy Marcum.
She was a member of Campground Church in Wellsville.
Frankie will be deeply missed by her children, William Shields Jr of Wellsville, Rick Shields and his wife, Lori of Wellsville, and Mark Shields and his wife, Patricia of CA.; brothers, Bill Greathouse and Gary Greathouse, and sisters, Dorothy Macaroy and her husband Junior and Patty Mceldoney. She will also be missed by her 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Pastor Gary Lemaster will celebrate Frankie's life, Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Arner Funeral Chapel, at 3 p.m. Friends may visit with her family two hours prior to the service from 1 -3 p.m. Private interment will be held at Yellow Creek Cemetery.
