EAST LIVERPOOL - Doris Mae Beynon, 70, of East Liverpool, passed away Friday, December 23, 2022, at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was 70.
Born October 6, 1952 and raised in New Cumberland, she was a daughter of the late Zack R. Jacobs and Evelyn Jacobs Hoder. Protestant by faith, she graduated from Oak Glen High School and worked as a machinist at Weirton Steel.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Patterson, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen, of Salineville, as well as a sister, Nancy Phillips and her husband, Jerry, and two brothers, Terry Jacobs and his wife, Jodi, and Leonard Jacobs. There are many nieces and nephews also surviving.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Forrester, and a brother, Kenneth "Butch" Jacobs, Sr.
Family and friends may visit Tuesday afternoon and evening at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 1-6 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Following the service, family and friends will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
