Ernie Wise, 68, of Chester, passed away Nov. 1, 2022.
Born July 1, 1954 in Weirton, W.Va., he was the son of Martha (Caine) Wise of Weirton and the late Earl Wise.
He was formerly an electrician for Weirton Steel.
Surviving are his loving wife, Paula (Tanley) Wise of Chester; two sons, Ernie (Miranda) Wise Jr. of Newell and Chad Wise of Chester; two grandchildren, Gavon Watkins and Lyla Wise; and a sister, Rita Sterling of California.
Visitation is Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, from 11a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home, Newell, W.Va.
Interment will follow in Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester, W.Va.
Memorial donation may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
