Gregory Joseph Martin, 55, of Rogers, Ohio, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, Oct. 3, 2022. Gregg was born on June 12, 1967, the son of the late Joseph and Myrle (Virden) Martin. Gregg was a 1985 graduate of East Liverpool High School. He was employed as a truck driver and lived in the area his entire life.
On July 8, 1991, Gregg married the love of his life, Lisa Hurd, and he spent the next 31 years devoted to her and his family. In addition to his wife, Gregg is survived by his children, Kelly (Michael) Dalrymple of Wellsville and Dustin Martin of East Liverpool; and his two brothers, Michael (Cindy) Martin of East Liverpool and Dewayne (Terri) Martin of Wellsville. "Grumpy" will also be dearly missed by his grandchildren Ryli Bettis, Callen Bettis, Devon Dalrymple and Liam Dalrymple.
Along with his parents, Gregg was preceded in death by his step-daughter Jennifer Bettis.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists-Martin Chapel in Calcutta.
