CALCUTTA - Cynthia L. Wilson of Calcutta passed away suddenly at her home Monday, Oct. 10, 2022. She was 68.
Born in East Liverpool Jan. 23, 1954, she was a daughter of the late John W. "Jack" and Doloras C. Watson Hopper. A resident of this area all her life, she retired from BOSS and had previously worked for the Columbiana County Court system. She graduated from East Liverpool High School and attended Wellsville First Christian Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Anna Wilson Paterini and her husband, Gary, of East Liverpool, and a grandson, Paxton Grimes. She also leaves behind two sisters, Rebecca Engelhard and her husband, Gary, of Springboro, Ohio, and Jacqueline Craft and her husband, George, Bluffton, South Carolina, as well as a brother, John W. Hopper Jr., and his wife, Diane, of Bluffton, South Carolina.
Pastor Mark Blakeley will conduct a funeral service at 3 p.m. Monday at the Dawson Funeral Home where friends may visit from noon to 3 p.m.
She will be laid to rest at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
